It is important to note that PMA Long Course 154 is only open to male citizens of Pakistan. Males without spouses may apply for the PMA Long Course 2024. Intermediate or equivalent/graduate after two years or four years is the minimum amount of education required. Two years of training at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) will follow selection.

                                       
Minimum Points Needed Requirements for 2nd Lieutenant Positions in Pakistan Army

• At least 55% in FA/FSc or its equivalent.
• Applicants to the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Long Course must receive 60% mks or higher in BA/BSc/BA/BSc-(Hons) and BBA/BPA, along with 50% mks in FA/FSc.
• Soldiers in the Army in service 50% in FA/FSc and above.
• Candidates who have advanced in the FSC Part I and Advance Subsidiary exam 2021 are also eligible to apply for a "Hope Certificate of 55% Marks," which must be properly issued by the institution's head.

•  Through the website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk, a candidate can register. The test date and time will be announced online, so the candidate needs to have an email address.

• On the computerized roll no slip, candidates will report at the precise time and date specified for the preliminary exam. Once provided, the date cannot be altered.

• As registration and testing will take place on computers, candidates MUST have a working understanding of computers.

• The application period for PMA Long Course 154, which is for jobs in the Pakistan Army as a 2nd Lieutenant, will open on March 25, 2024, and close on April 28, 2024.

Syllabus for Pakistan Army's PMA Long Course Written Test

• Written and cognitive exams.Multiple-choice questions covering English, math, Pakistan Studies, Islamiat, and general knowledge will comprise written and intelligence tests.
• At Army Selection and Recruitment Centers (AS&RCs), candidates who pass written and intelligence tests will also be subjected to physical and medical examinations as well as interviews.

                                       

Physical Exams by Pakistan Army for PMA Long Course

• 8 minutes (3 marks) for a 1.6-kilometer run
• Three pull-ups in two minutes are required (2 Marks).
• Push-ups: Perform 15 reps in two minutes (2 marks).
• 20 crunches done in two minutes (2 Marks)
• 7.4-foot Ditch Crossing (1 Mark)
